Car show convener Frank Garvey Senior said the cars always attracted lots of attention and he wanted this year’s display to be bigger with more variety than ever before.

“Last year all we had was the show cars, but this year I would like to get prestige cars, motorbikes and utes as well.”

So far about 30 sponsors have been rounded up, with major prizes for every class.

The vehicles will need to meet at the southern end at 10am on show day, where Mr Garvey will meet everyone and instruct them where to go.

The cars and bikes will parade in front of the grandstand, all on the lawn, before parking so people can have a look.
